Safiuchi means “Pure Naked” in Swahili.

Join us for the 'In the Nude of Art' exhibition opening celebrating artist Safiuchi's newest collection and her artist in residency at WOW Gallery! During Safiuchi's residency you'll have the opportunity to explore Safiuchi's latest artworks and participate in a series of engaging events and facilitating community learning workshops that highlights indigenous practices of Native and Black American cultures. Safiuchi passionately incorporates celebrating identity through her paintings and artistic creations.
