LOIS KINCY
Lois is a lifelong student of human behavior and spirituality, dedicated to living without fear and embracing inner transformation. A retired Kinship Navigator with 33 years of service, she supported grandmothers and caregivers in prioritizing self-care while navigating family responsibilities. As a life and wellness coach, artist, storyteller, and mentor, Lois combines her experiences and spiritual insights to guide others toward inner peace, self-acceptance, and a life of confidence and ease.
My Story
Lois, a life long student. She researches human behavior. She had to know, how as a spirit inside a human body, she could live without fear. Putting into practice the self-understanding gained. As her human fear faded, she experienced herself change. Her spiritual connection had increased its presence. Her fear became confidence.
She is a mother and grandmother. Matriarch of a supportive family. She is a life and wellness coach, a facilitator, mentor, workshop and event coordinator, teacher, curriculum developer, parent educator, writer, poet, artist, storyteller, motivational speaker, and a clown.
She uses lessons learned to calm the human fear and stay connected to her spirit within. Listening and trusting as she follows its guidance. She is experiencing the meaning of faith and trust in and for herself. Which has made for the end of inner conflict, a way out of her insecurities and into the ease of life. The sharing of this experience has been her motivation to serve others.at
She has retired after 33 years, serving as Kinship Navigator, for the Kinship program. A part of Edgewood Family and Children’s Center in San Francisco. As a kinship parent herself, she facilitated a weekly support group for grandmothers and other relative caregivers.
Using her experience as a kinship parent, knowing the importance of caring for themselves, while caring for their families. Her purpose was to educate them to the possibilities of emotional, spiritual, and mental self-care. Learning to pay attention to their own needs in the midst of family demands. Introducing ways to release any possible guilt present, as they chose to put themselves first. She called the group, “ We take care of ourselves, too.”
Using what her research has taught her, she lives with her spirit and her human self with acceptance of each. Her goal now, is to follow the path which still shows itself to her. With the same self trust and faith. This time to walk it without fear, but with the ease she found in herself. Taking all opportunities to share with others, what she discovers along the way.
