Ms. Monika C. Mathews is a dedicated leader with over two decades of experience in youth development and community engagement, founding The Life Enrichment Group, QueenCare, and The Spa House, and receiving national recognition for her commitment to empowering overlooked youth and families.
My Story
Ms. Monika C. Mathews is a dedicated leader passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their fullest potential, regardless of challenging circumstances. With over two decades of experience in youth development, community engagement, and leadership, she has become an expert in creating impactful programs for overlooked youth and families. In 2003, she founded The Life Enrichment Group, a nonprofit that provides academic, social, and emotional support for youth in Seattle/King County. She also launched QueenCare in 2018, offering natural self-care products and paid internships for young women, and expanded the business nationally. Her latest venture, The Spa House, opened in 2023 as a healing space offering various spa treatments.
Ms. Mathews has been nationally recognized for her work, receiving prestigious honors such as the Freedom’s Sisters Award (2012), Time in Her Hands Award (2013), and multiple city proclamations for her dedication to youth empowerment. Her philosophy centers on fostering positive relationships to create safe environments that nurture the unique gifts of young people, helping them thrive. Through her unwavering commitment, Ms. Mathews continues to transform lives and strengthen communities.
